Who we are

mycleandent – your platform for verified quality in implantology, based on the independent CleanImplant testing procedure.

mycleandent was created by the renowned CleanImplant Foundation to connect patients with qualified dentists and modern implant solutions. Our mission is to provide guidance and to make access to the treatment facilities we qualify easier.

The CleanImplant Foundation is an internationally recognized, independent institution dedicated to assessing the cleanliness of dental implants. Through extensive scientific testing and its own certification processes, the Foundation examines implant systems against defined criteria for specific surface properties and possible manufacturing residues. The results of these tests, together with the CleanImplant quality award, provide transparent information for dentists and can support them in selecting implant systems. The testing procedure is carried out in addition to existing legal approval requirements and regulatory conformity assessments.

The Foundation's work is supported by an international scientific advisory board. This panel of experts defines the threshold values for a particularly high standard of implant cleanliness, oversees the tests, and ensures that the results are scientifically sound and verified. Through exchange with dentists, clinics, and professional societies, a strong network emerges that places the quality of medical devices and patient safety at its center. This panel of experts defines the testing criteria and threshold values for the CleanImplant testing procedure for exceptional cleanliness, oversees the tests, and ensures that the results are scientifically sound and verifiable.

Through mycleandent you can find dentists and clinics that work according to the tested standards of the CleanImplant procedure. Every practice listed with us uses implants that, beyond the legal approval requirements, meet the criteria of the CleanImplant consensus guideline and comply with the threshold values for particularly high cleanliness defined within the CleanImplant testing procedure. This gives you confidence and clarity in a decision that is invaluable for your health and well-being.

Questions & Answers

A dental implant is a post made of titanium/ceramic that is surgically placed into the jawbone, replacing a missing tooth root and supporting a crown, bridge, or denture.

You are a good candidate if you have sufficient jawbone density, healthy gums, and good general health. Smokers or people with certain conditions may require an additional assessment.

With proper care, dental implants can last a lifetime, while the crown typically needs to be replaced every 10 to 15 years.

Yes, dental implants are a proven and safe procedure with a high success rate when performed by a qualified specialist.

The entire process can take several months, as it involves surgery, a healing phase (3–6 months for osseointegration), and the placement of the final crown. In certain cases, immediate implantation with a temporary crown may also be possible.

The procedure is performed under local anesthesia, so only minimal pain is expected. Mild discomfort, swelling, and bruising may occur afterward but can be managed well with pain relievers.

The process includes an initial consultation, the surgical implantation, a healing phase for bone integration, and finally attaching the dental restoration (the crown).

Depending on the situation, a temporary restoration can be placed until the final crown is attached.

Initial healing takes about a week, but full integration of the implant into the bone (osseointegration) takes approximately 3–6 months.
